Our exclusive Cacao Guardians variety **“Qat’i’t”** (Qat’i’t means *ancestral grandmothers* in the Maya K’iche language) grows in the lush region of Escuintla, Guatemala, very close to the archaeological park Tak'al Ab'aj. The cacao trees belong to some of the highest-quality genetics of “Criollos Multivariedad.” Surrounded by trees such as cedar, Palo Blanco, Conacaste, Matilisguate, and avocado, this cacao develops a deeply chocolaty, “woody” flavor and carries a profoundly earthy energy.

Qat’i’t perfectly unites energies: light yet deeply rooted — ideal for playful, active practices as well as for introspective and meditative journeys.
